Our Motto

Real Faith...Real People

Our Vision

We exist to see lives transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ one person at a time. This was the heart of Christ Himself. Jesus said in Luke 19:10 - "For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost." This is the message that Christ came to proclaim and to be. We believe the gospel changes everything. As Christ works in and through us, lives are transformed one person at a time.

Our Mission

We pursue our vision by making disciples and engaging our community and world for Christ.

The mission is based on the 2 most important commands that Jesus gave us. Love God and love people.

The first command begins with our relationship with God. It is referred to the "Great Commandment."

In Mark 12:30-31 Jesus said, "And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength. The second is this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."

The second command is referred to as the "Great Commission."

We exist to make disciples who make disciples. A disciple is one who knows and follows Christ (head), is being changed by Jesus (heart), and is committed to the mission of Christ (hands). We want to see people have an encounter with Jesus, begin a personal relationship with Him, grow in their faith as a follower of Jesus, and reproduce themselves by making other disciples.

In Matthew 28:18-20 Jesus said, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

Our Strategy

Love - Love God through worship. We believe this love begins at salvation as a person experiences the love of Jesus and is transformed by the Gospel, that love grows as they identify with Christ and follow Him, and that love develops a heart to worship God individually and corporately. believers. It is a love that saturates every area of their life (Mark 12:30).

Grow - Growing in our faith in order to be more like Christ in community. We exist to make disciples who make disciples. We all need someone who is praying with us, laughing with us, crying with us, challenging us, and supporting us. Bellview is a community, real people who have real struggles, but are striving to grow in Christ daily.  We believe that discipleship happens best in the context of relational environments such as Sunday school or small groups. Individuals must be growing in their personal relationship with Jesus and each other in order to effectively fulfill Go's purpose for our church. We believe that healthy relationships are guided and sustained by our common need for grace, unconditional love, encouragement, accountability, and submission to Jesus as Lord of our lives. Bellview is not just a church you go to or join, but it's a people you belong to.

Serve - Serving others is how we love our neighbors (Mark 12:31). In Matthew 20:28 Jesus said, "Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many." We serve others by using our gifts to serve the church and we serve others by engaging our community and world for Christ to reach those who are far from God.
